143 dB SPL/82 dB – the highest output ever from a BTE13
Dynamo is built on Oticon’s new ultra-fast Inium Sense platform, which delivers 143 dB SPL MPO, 82 dB Full-On Gain and low frequency output. Never before has a BTE13 device packed so much power, which is all the more impressive given Dynamo’s small size and versatility.
BrainHearing™ – making more sense of sound
Dynamo employs a set of Oticon technologies we call BrainHearing™. By supporting the way the brain makes sense of sound, Dynamo provides your clients with better hearing, supporting them in their ability to engage in conversations with family and friends.
Speech Rescue™ - full access to the inaudible
The first of the technologies, Speech Rescue™, works by making copies of high frequency sounds such as ‘s’ and ‘th’, and then ‘pasting’ these into a lower frequency range where your cliient can hear them. Unlike similar technologies, Speech Rescue™ leaves the original details in place and positions the copy into unoccupied space in the frequency range for unrivalled fidelity and clarity.
Speech Guard E and Speech Rescue™ - every speech cue counts
Once Speech Rescue™ has made high frequency consonants accessible to hearing, our proven Speech Guard E compression technology steps in to deliver just the right amplification while preserving the natural dynamic nuances of speech. As a result, your client will perceive speech more clearly throughout the day, and his or her brain will have an easier time decoding what people are saying, even in noisy environments.
Inium Sense feedback shieldSP – no more annoying feedback
Feedback in a hearing aid is annoying and can stand in the way of speech understanding and communication. Carefully optimised for severe to profound hearing loss, Dynamo’s Inium Sense feedback shieldSP will keep your clients protected from unwanted whistling and squealing, without compromising high sound quality.
ConnectLine – the telephone like never before
Telephones present notorious challenges for people with severe to profound hearing loss. That’s why Oticon ConnectLine is an ideal partner for your clients' Dynamo hearing aids – helping them connect to a wide range of communication and entertainment applications. ConnectLine establishes a direct wireless link between your client’s telephone and Dynamo. The technology is very easy to use, and the clarity of sound it delivers can transform telephone communication. It can also be used with televisions, music players and computers.
YouMatic – tailor Dynamo to individual client needs
People with severe to profound hearing loss know their hearing aids well and are used to the way they sound. Because it takes time for the brain to adjust itself to take advantage of new enhancements, advances that can make a genuine difference often go unnoticed when a client tries a new device. With Dynamo, there’s no need to stick with an outdated hearing aid when significant improvements are at hand.
Oticon’s unique BrainHearing technology is designed to make your clients adjust more easily to new hearing aids by helping them make better sense of sound.
With YouMatic, the personalisation tool used with Oticon Dynamo, your client can have sound tailored to his or her personal listening preferences and needs. Ultimately, this makes it easier for your clients to adapt to a new, enriched sound and gives them a more natural listening experience.
The perfect choice for bimodal fittings
More and more cochlear implant patients are choosing to wear a hearing aid in the contralateral ear. Today, many hearing aids fitted together with CIs are poorly balanced, and Dynamo solves the problem via a bimodal fitting guide in our Genie fitting software. The protocol can accommodate wideband and restricted bandwidth fitting, as well as the use of frequency lowering and loudness balancing.
